TOPS OF EUROPE TITLIS

DAY 1 ARRIVE ZURICH – ONTO INTERLAKEN

On arrival in Zurich, you will walk across to the Flughafen station (located adjacent to the airport) for your train to Interlaken, the heart of the Bernese Oberland. On arrival into Interlaken check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Interlaken.

DAY 2 INTERLAKEN

Excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. From Interlaken Ost the train takes you via Grindelwald or Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. The Jungfrau Railway takes you up to the Jungfraujoch – at 3454 m/11’333 ft the highest railway station in Europe. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken.

DAY 3 INTERLAKEN – LUCERNE

Today, travel by train to Lucerne, the epitome of Swiss beauty. Rail trip by Brünig Express from Interlaken to Lucerne (panoramic seats in 1st class only). Enjoy the food and wine as you inch your way closer to the Swiss Alps and spend the day at leisure. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 4 LUCERNE

Excursion to Mt. Titlis – at 3020 m / 10’000 ft. From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monestry village Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trübsee. Continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cablecar takes to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. Overnight in Lucerne.

LUCERNE – ZURICH DEPA

Today travel by train to Zurich Airport Station for your flight back home.
